In order to allow for actionable and targeted analysis, the ESG Tracker takes a modular approach. There are 12 modules in total, 3 of which are contextual (Profile, Organisational Context, and Geographic Footprint) and 9 of which are used in analysis and scoring (Governance, Commitment, Society, Workforce, Gender, Environment, Climate, Resources, and Innovation). However, for the purposes of analysis, Climate is considered a subset of Environment.

Within each module are a series of subcategories, each made up of several questions themselves. This permits highly granular analysis and modular deep-dives.
